The Japan Society of Gene Therapy (JSGT) will be of interest to both basic and clinical scientists working actively in the field of molecular biology. The annual scientific meeting of JSGT is scheduled as follows.

Language:	The official language of the conference either Japanese or English. No simultaneous interpretation will be provided

Call for Abstracts:

Oral Presentations:

A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Authors whose papers have been selected will be notified of their selection by the end of March, 1998.
Participants who wish to present a poster as well as an oral should complete the enclosed abstract form and application form, in English acceding to the guidelines included and send these forms to the secretariat and also for further information please contact at the JSGT secretariat (temporary).

The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 31, 1998.

Climate and Clothing:

The climate in Tokyo in early July is warm, and humid, the temperature ranging from 25c-32c.The average humidity is 70%-80%. The period from mid-June to mid-July in Japan is the rainy season. Accordingly, light clothing is appropriate. The conference hall and all major places are air-conditioned.
